Garlic Cheddar Biscuits
These Garlic Cheddar Biscuits are a quick and easy recipe and a close copycat of Red Lobster’s biscuits!
I know, I know, you guys have seen these biscuits everywhere.
But you haven’t seen them here and I have been working on perfecting this recipe for a little while so I had to post it.
And I promise you they won’t disappoint you or your dinner guests!!
INGREDIENTS :
BISCUITS:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2-3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese I like sharp cheddar
TOPPING:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
INSTRUCTIONS :
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder and salt. Add in the buttermilk, butter and cheddar and stir just until combined.
